Meet the Team!
Erica has both a B.S. and an M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction, a Ph.D in Minority and Urban Education, and a passion for art enrichment. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of education where she taught middle and high school as well as undergraduate and graduate teacher education courses. Over the past four years, Erica has become the owner of KidzArt Palm Beach. KidzArt provides art enrichment classes and camps to students throughout Palm Beach County. Erica is thrilled at the opportunity to have an even broader reach in her community. "I have always made it a point to incorporate art into my teaching, no matter the subject because the skills students practice through regular art instruction, such as problem-solving, critical thinking and focusing, are directly transferable and essential to all subjects! And it's FUN!" Erica makes it a point to hire and train KidzArt instructors with her same beliefs and passion about art education.
